SUZY & GENG BREAK-UP SCANDAL:
HAN GENG BREAKS HIS SILENCE

It's been two weeks since the first blow up of Suzy, leader of the the famous girl group Fangirls and Han Geng, of the 13-member group Super Junior, rumored break-up. And until now, certain issues remained unclear to some of us as the two refused to disclose to the public the true reasons behind the said break-up. And now, finally the long wait is over as Han Geng breaks his silence for the first time and clears up all the controversies during his guesting at MBC's Sunday talkshow, The Buzz.

Host: Hi! Good day Han Geng. Thank you so much for being here.

Geng: Annyeong! Thank you for having me here.

Host: So, how are you? You look good.

Geng: Thank you! Fine, I'm fine.

Host: Good to hear that. Anyways, we wont make our viewers wait for so long. Let's get to business. So, just two weeks ago, rumors regarding your break-up with Suzy started to heat up the tabloids and all over the net.

Geng: Neh.

Host: First thing I would like to clarify is, is it true?

Geng: Yes. Its true. After almost 1 year of being together, we finally decided to call it quits.

Host: Oh so the break-up really happened. How? Was it a mutual decision?

Geng: Hmm.. Yeah it was! Its just something that happened. We were talking on the phone that night and the next thing we know, we were already talking about “what if we just end here” and stuffs like that. It was not really like those typical sad break-up moments.

Host: So both of you just felt like it was about time to say goodbye?

Geng: Maybe. Well, there's never really a right time to say goodbye but during that time, we just felt like we got to go our separate ways.

Host: What could be the reason that both of you thought that way?

Geng: Truth is, I dont how I can explain it in a way that people could easily understand. You see, Suzy and I both have something so special. So special that love does not even begin to describe it. Maybe because we have “FRIENDSHIP” as our strongest foundation.

Host: So both of you have been very good friends even before becoming a couple?

Geng: Yeah! Very good friends. We first met in a dressing room and I got attracted to her at first sight. There was a part of me that says “I've got to have her”. And during that time, I know what I wanted, and that's her. Then, Heechul introduced me to her. After that, we started going out with friends and found out that we have a lot in common. But we remained good friends though despite the fact that.. you know.. I want her to be more than just a friend.

Host: How did you finally get to tell her?

Geng: Well you know, it was hard at first. Isn't it so sad when you have so much love in your heart yet you cant tell her because of one very reason, “YOU'RE FRIENDS!”? But fortunately, I got to tell her with the help of few friends. Good thing, she also feels the same way.

Host: So after that, did you encounter any problems that eventually led to the break-up?

Geng: Everything was perfect at first. We thought that if we just stick together, we'll make it through. But it was a tough relationship, really. With that almost 1 year of struggle. For no matter what we do, we can't deny the fact that we're celebrities. No matter how we try to be just like those normal couples, it simply cannot be done. We're not allowed to date in public places. We can't even let the people see even the slightest act of affection. You know the feeling when you say I LOVE YOU to each other almost everyday yet you can't even show

that to her?

Host: So what happened then?

Geng: Everything changed. With our hectic schedules adding up to the pressure. We no longer see each other that often and contact each other less than before. And I got used to the feeling of not having her by my side. We used to be together, laughed together, cried together and dreamt together. Yet, that time I felt so alone. When I first saw her I knew, its her that I wanted, but as time goes by, I felt like I no longer know what I want. I felt so empty.

Host: And how about Suzy?

Geng: It was hard for me but it was harder for her. She needed somebody to care for her yet I can't even be there for her. She's hurting and I cant even do anything about it. She's no longer happy. I know what she wanted and that's exactly what I also need.......

Host: Space?

Geng: *nods* We just thought that it would be for the best, so we stop hurting each other. I mean, a “GOODBYE” could hurt, but not as much as an “I LOVE YOU” that can't be proven.... And besides, we don't wanna end up hating each other. The least we can do is save the friendship.

Host: How about the love that you used to have?

Geng: I don't know really, it just died, a slow death. If there's one thing that kept the relationship going its the RESPECT that we have for each other.

Host: But it was a good thing that you remained friends despite everything.

Geng: Of course. We started that way, we'll end up that way also. It was more like a relationship tested by love and strengthened by friendship.

Host: So, how's the both of you now? Have you talked after the break-up?

Geng: Yes! We did! We had an agreement to see each other first before I show myself up to the public. To clear some unresolved issues between the two of us and for closure.

Host: I was just wondering, what made you decide to finally come out and tell us all of these?

Geng: Well, I guess its about time. And the fans might also deserve an explanation. Afterall, we kept our relationship a secret to them. And I also want to protect Suzy. There have been a lot of unpleasant news coming out of nowhere and bad comments about her. There was also an article saying that a 3rd-party was involved. I would just like to clarify that there were no 3rd-parties. And it was a mutual decision.

Host: All right, so we heard Han Geng saying there were no 3rd-parties. So, do you have any message for Suzy.

Geng: Ahhhmm.. Suzy! I know you're in America right now but if ever you'd be able to watch this, I would just like to say I'm sorry. Sorry for the things that I have done and the things that I have failed to do. And also, thank you so much for everything. I learned a lot from you. You came and my life changed. You came, and I was happy. You will always be special to me and you will always belong to the puzzle that makes my whole life complete. Our differences might have brought us into different paths but I still hope to see you at the end of the road. They say, that it takes grown-ups to make a relationship work. Ours might not worked the way we wanted it to be but I can personally say that you're considered a full grown-up now. You can now face whatever challenges that will come your way. And always remember, I will always be here for you. Be happy!

Host: Wow! That was straight from Han Geng's mouth. And lastly, any message for your fans?

Geng: Ah yes! Of course thank you, for being there. For not pre-judging us and accepting us despite our weaknesses. For what we are, for what we are not and for what we can never be. I know we broke your hearts for this news but still you were there to support us. We died, and you died with us. And now we're reborn and opening a new chapter in our lives, and you remained! Thank you so much. And I hope you also learned from us. You see, love is the free exercise of choice. Two people love each other only when they're quite capable of living without each but choose to live with each other. Everything is just a matter of choice. All we have to do is love genuinely.

FG's HALO VS. DBSK's DOU SHITTE KIMI WO SUKI NI NATTE SHIMATTANDAROU?

After releasing their Japanese collab single with Big Bang's G-Dragon, Out of this club, FG released their 3rd single for their Japanese mini album entitled Halo. The song lyrics was composed by their main vocalist, G-yan. The song has has a mainstream pop sound, with subtle R&B undertones that should carry it to the top of the charts. FG performed the song for the first time at Music Japan which was accepted by the Japanese crowd positively. Though the reviews of Halo have been generally positive, rumors heat up regarding the track's similarity to one of DBSK's japanese single Dou Shitte Kimi Wo Suki Ni Natte Shimattandarou, not to mention the sameness of its beat and piano melody. The producers of the said song stated that, Halo is a contemporary ballad with modish beats, a simple piano melody and loads of emotion. It was an absolutely glorious and perfectly produced track. Comparisons could be made to DBSK's, but it hangs high on its own merits.


Despite the rumors behind the song, it looks like the Japanese market paid no attention to those, as Halo, continued to rose in Japanese charts not to mention, it, debuting at number 5 on Oricon Charts. The music video was also controversial as it was released with Sexy Green Alyce's hot bath tub scene.

Their two Japanese singles, AH and Out of this Club is included in this Japanese mini album together with Halo. Releasing of dates of the said album are still tentative. Final schedules will be released after the girls' come back from America, for the promotion of their OST single Jai Ho from the movie Slumdog Millionaire. But GRM Ent. is accepting pre-release orders.

FANGIRLS’ UFO REPLIES TO

We’ve revealed to you a lot of “MUST KNOW” stuffs fresh from the FG themselves. Let’s get to know more of our girls as we reveal their UNEXPECTED UFO replies to fans.

By the way, before anything else, UFO is not the UFO that you people are thinking right now.
